Wolffkraft® launches “Design(er) Library”

March 3rd is celebrated globally as World Wildlife Day. The United Nations General Assembly designated this day in 2013 to raise awareness about protecting and conserving wild animals and plants. The theme for World Wildlife Day 2023 is “Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet.

What has design or designers got to do with this?

Designers can play a crucial role in preserving the planet and protecting wildlife. As we are now aware of the environmental impact of human activities, there is a growing need for sustainable design solutions that reduce waste, conserve resources, and minimise harm to the natural world. Designers have to contribute to this effort by creating products, buildings, and systems that are eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and minimise the use of non-renewable resources.

Designers, through their work, have to inspire the world to take action to protect the planet and wildlife. In addition, designers have to raise awareness of environmental issues and promote the importance of conservation through their work. By integrating empathy and sustainability into their designs and advocating for environmental protection, designers can positively impact the world and help ensure a healthy future for future generations.

A few years back, some of our prospects used to smirk at our presentation when I pitched Wolffkraft’s tagline “Crafting the future, responsibly”. It’s not entirely the designers’ responsibility to achieve this. It’s a collective responsibility. As crucial as it is, stakeholders and businesses must accept a thought process of caring about others and our world.

We at Wolffkraft® are on a mission to craft the future responsibly by nurturing an exceptional breed of designers - well-read, excellent and long-term thinkers, well-intended, with values friendly for tomorrow’s world and extraordinary human beings.

Today, we are happy to share that Wolffkraft® enables our designers with over 200 relevant books to make them great designers. For that goal, we have been working on an exclusive library for designers of tomorrow. We will be opening up this library for other designers very soon. By this year’s end, we will have a library of over 1000 books - specifically for designers.

Symbolically, we have our mini-jungle over our library, a knowledge base that fuels our instincts and wisdom. We would like to invite designers to register to show your interest.

We will keep you posted as soon as possible. Cheers to a new tomorrow.

Let’s craft a future responsibly! Aaaauuuuuuuuuuuuu 🐺
